First Christmas

well, I survived my first Christmas!  I could get used to this presents thing!  I made out like a bandit!!  I got lots of loud and obnoxious toys that will surely drive mommy and daddy nuts!  Who cares, I love them!  and they should learn that when I am entertained, that means I am not whining.....think about it mom.  Of course they dressed me up like a derranged reindeer...I suppose it will make for good pictures...I could have done without the silly hat....but no worries I only had it on for a short time...yep...I barfed on it and had to be changed....my evil plan worked....

Meeting Santa Claus

Tonight I got to meet the big man...Santa that is....I hear he makes or breaks my Christmas....I know I have been good this year...especially since I have only been around for half of it!...and I can't walk just yet so that limits my ability to get into trouble!  Big Sister Hayley has a little more to worry about-- yeah she is three and a half, trouble is her middle name!  Here are a few pics of me and the dude in the red suit-- I think he has had one too many cookies!

I am Six Months Old!!

Can you believe it?  I know mommy and daddy can't!!  I am quite the big guy now!  I am eating solids-- well, squishy baby food...but it is better than rice cereal and formula!  One of these days I will be able to eat a nice big steak, so for now...baby food it is!  In these pics I am eating carrots! 

Meeting Aunt Chrissy!

I finally got to meet Aunt Chrissy!  She and mommy have been best friends since they were kids!  She came all the way from Chicago to meet little old me....Mommy says she came to see her for her birthday, but I know better...who could resist this face?  Of course Aunt Chrissy spoiled me too!  Thanks for all of my fun stuff! Can't wait to meet my buds Owen and Drew next time!

Christmas is Coming!

Time to decorate the tree...even though it's a fake one (sorry, I sold you out mommy!)  I had fun decorating the tree with Big Sister Hayley.  She did most of the work.  I just sat there, chewed on an ornament and looked cute of course.  Next year I should really be into everything--good thing most of the ornaments are plastic!  Looking forward to my first Christmas!

Old Town Xmas Tree Lighting

So apparently there is this character named Santa that is coming at the end of next month and they light a tree to celebrate-- so the fam and I headed to Old Town to see the lighting of the big tree.  First we stopped at Chipotle to eat dinner-- of course I had to watch since my dinner is still in liquid form....then we watched the tree lighting -- lots of pretty lights.  Then we stopped for hot chocolate-- which of course I could not have....life is so not fair. 

My First Thanksgiving

Today was my first Thanksgiving....didn't get to eat the turkey yet, but it certainly looked good!  and yep, you guessed it....I slept through dinner.  I know, I promise to stay awake next year!  I had fun napping and sitting up in my bumbo chair and watching all the action!  I might have to bribe mommy to let me eat some left over mashed potatoes tomorrow!

Tonight I ate my first solid food!  not counting the icky rice cereal!  I ate some yummy sweet potatoes!  I wasn't quite sure about them at first, but once I gave them a try, they were yummy!!  As usual, mommy had to take a bunch of photos for the occasion!  enjoy!

My First Halloween!

Daddy picked out my halloween costume...I am a lion!  a cute one at that!  I walked (well rode) in the Neighborhood Halloween Party and then hung out with daddy and handed out candy to all the trick or treaters while Mommy took big sister trick -o- treating in the neighborhood.  We carved pumpkins with grandma and grandpa too!

Footprints in the sand...

Here are my first (...of many more to come) footprints in the sand.  Each time we visit Aruba, mommy puts our footprints in the sand for our scrapbooks.  I sure have some tiny feet!!

Aruba Family Photos

We took our family photos for our Christmas card while we are down here in Aruba.  This is my big debut on the Christmas card this year, so I had to look good....you will be seeing this cute face in your mailbox this coming December!

Another day of chilling on the beach! A dude could get used to this!  seriously....do we really have to go home? 

Rockin' the Speedo...

Nana bought me a speedo so I can fit in with the dutch men down here in Aruba!  I know, I make this look good!!  Mommy says only babies or Ryan Reynolds should ever be allowed to rock the speedo....but there are LOTS of dudes down here that are trying to pull it off but totally miss the mark.  Enjoy ladies....

Panama Jack...

so...mommy had fun playing dress up with me...and as you can see I am not a big fan of it.  At least I get to look out at the big blue ocean which helps drown out the sounds of my crazy big sister! I have had so much fun splashing in the baby pool and sleeping under the cabanas....

Just Another Day in Paradise....

Aruba is lots of fun....I sleep under the tiki hut all day and grandma makes lots of funny faces at me....not too much to report here.  Hayley found a few friends on the beach which means she is leaving me alone!  whew!
