My First Swim

It was so hot today I decided to take my first dip in the pool.  I know from first glance at my pics it looks like I did not enjoy it, but I did.  It was nice and cool.  I could only stay in for a few, but I had fun.  I am prepping myself for my upcoming trip to Aruba in October.  Who knows, I just might become a future Michael Phelps!

Meeting Miss Marni

I finally got to meet mommy's good friend Miss Marni.  She lives up in New York City -- she was even on Good Morning America last week, she is super fun!  She brought me an I heart new york t-shirt-- thanks again!!  Miss Marni came down to DC for a family reunion, but popped in to see us and finally meet me!  We had fun chatting over lunch-- where of course, you guessed it, I slept through the entire lunch....hee hee....catch ya later Miss Marni!

My New Ride...

Since there are now two of us, Mommy and daddy picked us up a "New Ride" aka the double stroller. There is a place for me and a place for big sister Hayley to sit or stand behind me since she is quite the precocious three year old and rarely listens to mommy, so she can be strapped in too! Mommy got to take it out for a spin this morning when we went to Clemyjontri Park in McLean with our pals Lexie and Josh.  And of course, I slept the entire time...I know...shocker.  Anyway, I give the new stroller two thumbs up!

Rally in the Alley

Today we had fun hanging with our neighbors in the alley to send off some great neighbors who are moving away.  I had fun being held by everyone-- too bad I could not eat all of the yummy looking food everyone brought....still have a few more months before that happens!  here are some pics from the super fun event!

Meeting Uncle Dee Dee

I finally got to meet Uncle Dee Dee today!  He has been away at Training, so I am just now getting to meet him!  he is my big sister Hayley's godfather.  He is also one of daddy's best friends, so I guess that means he is a cool guy.  I am sure we will be spending lots of time together!!  I'm sure he will love babysitting me like Uncle Dave does!

I am One Month Old!!

Well, I have made it through one whole month in the world!  I have grown a little-- I am now 8lbs and 6.5 oz. and 21.78 inches long!  I have smiled-- I am a happy kid!  I won't tell mom that it is more than likely gas-- I will let mom and dad think that they make me laugh!  I am starting to loose a little bit of my hair which of course makes me look like an old man, so hopefully it will start to grow back soon!  I hope to soon fit into all of my fun clothes that Grandma and Nana have bought me-- I am quite the little peanut!  nothing fits me just yet!  I think Lulu (our dog) is funny-- she always looks at me and tries to figure me out.  My big sister Hayley is super cool-- she is always trying to help mommy!  More updates to come!

Little Monkey...

Today Mommy took me to the mall to go shopping and to let Hayley play on the indoor playground since she has way too much energy!!  So, I can safely say that I am not a huge fan of the mall, nor the ridiculous outfits that mommy buys me when she is there!  I just know this monkey hat is going to come back to haunt me when I am older...

Play Date and Meeting New Friends

I got to meet Annie and Andrew today!  They came by to swim and have a play date with my big sister Hayley, and course to meet little old me!  They all had fun swimming while I napped in the shade.  One of these days I will actually get to swim in the pool-- I am a bit too little just yet, I guess I will just have to wait until I go to Aruba this coming October....

Meeting Miss Ellyn

Today I got to meet Miss Ellyn-- she used to be my big sister's nanny!  She thought I was super cute-- but then again, who wouldn't!!  We had fun visiting all afternoon.

Happy Birthday America!  Nothing like kicking back with friends and good food...today we had lots of fun!  I was supposed to go to the Nationals game but mommy thought it was too hot to bring me out, so she and I chilled at home while daddy and big sister Hayley went to the game with friends.  I guess I will have to wait until it is a bit cooler out to experience my first baseball game.  After the game, lots of friends stopped by to celebrate the 4th and to see me of course!  Mommy and Daddy even let me stay up late to watch the fireworks, since I am up all night anyway!
